Ph.D. Candidate in Economics

Welcome to my website!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. My research focuses on labor economics, intergenerational social mobility and inequality, and political economy. I combine applied microeconometric techniques to identify causal relationships with theoretical macroeconomic modeling to deepen the understanding of the mechanisms underlying my empirical findings.

My Ph.D. thesis is called Essays on the Sources and Consequences of Inequality in the Labor Market. I work under the supervision of Alexander Monge-Naranjo and Fabrizia Mealli. Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed a Master's degree in Economics at the University of Konstanz, Germany.
